Before the arrival of the Pro-ARIDES program, family relationships in our community were marked by significant inequality. Men made all the decisions and bore the sole responsibility for the household, while women were rarely involved in resource management and community life. This situation limited their development and hindered cohesion within households. The intervention of Pro-ARIDES was a real turning point.
