Capacity building of program stakeholders: Potential recipients of the local investment fund benefit from training on onion production techniques
As part of the effective implementation of trajectory II ” Improved business, service and employment opportunities and market links, thus generating greater economic value ” of the Pro ARIDES program, a package of activities has been planned, including among others the capacity building of rural microenterprises outside of farming/livestock operations .This package of activities aims in factthe empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) co-opted to benefit from the related fund, but also of peasant organizations (POs), most of which come from agro-pastoral field schools (CEAP) initiated by the program, likely to be recipients of the local investment fund set up to develop their operational capacities.
