Capitalization is a strategic tool for:
- document and analyze the approaches implemented;
- identify promising innovations;
- draw lessons for scaling up;
- promote the results to decision-makers, partners, and communities.
For the year 2024 in Burkina Faso, four priority themes have been selected:
- Restoration of degraded land – Operation “Zero Zipellé”;
- Land tenure security and conflict management;
- Financial inclusion via AVECs;
- Social inclusion and local governance via the CCR/CCSI.
It is in this context that the Program entrusted the VIA4C – Brand Image Étalons Films consortium with a technical support mandate to lead the process of qualitative capitalization of these four themes. The objective was not only to document the approaches, but also to highlight innovations, impacts, challenges, and lessons learned in order to facilitate scaling up and guide future program interventions.
